Preschool

Preschoolers are imaginative and independent. The Center has a program to feed both these important milestones.

Our goal is to help preschoolers:
• Build vocabulary and conversation skills
• Perfect small and large motor skills
• Develop confidence in their abilities
• Encourage self expression and emotional recognition
• Learn to share and manage conflict
• Develop independence, boundaries and pride
• Learn problem-solving skills
• Develop courtesy skills

Activities include:
• Simple games
• Reading and singing activities
• Dramatic play
• “Counting” games and activities
• Music for dancing and singing
• Dress-up and theme play
• Drawing and “writing” activities
• Science activities (growing things, etc.)
• Size, color, positioning activities (up/down, in/out, etc.)
• Begin using scissors
• Role playing
• Collages
